Han So-hee, Once Unable to Afford Art School in France “Stuns with Her Remarkable Drawing Skills”

On December 14th, Han So-hee shared several photos on her personal social media account without adding any captions.
Her impressive drawing skills, combined with the playful tattoo stickers covering her arm, immediately caught the eye.
Previously, it was revealed that before her acting debut, Han So-hee had spent 20 million won to remove tattoos she had inked on her body. Now, she appears to express her individuality by using tattoo stickers instead.
Meanwhile, Han So-hee personally stepped up to clarify the suspicion surrounding her acceptance into a French school.
Regarding this, her agency officially stated, “It’s true that Han So-hee was accepted into a French school, just as she directly revealed on entertainment programs.”
On the afternoon of April 29th, Han So-hee‘s agency told Maeil Business Newspaper Star Today, “We cannot disclose specific details as they are personal matters, but everything actress Han So-hee directly talked about on the broadcast is true. She was indeed accepted into a French school.“

Prior to this, Han So-hee shared through her Instagram the response she gave to a netizen regarding her studying abroad in France.
Han So-hee told the netizen, “As you may know, systems involving thinking and transitions were not suitable for me. From then on, I gave up on domestic universities and focused on building my portfolio. At first, I dreamed of Central Saint Martins and Parsons, but after hearing that it costs hundreds of millions of won each year, I chose Beaux-Arts.”
She confessed, “Since I wasn’t attending a domestic university, there was no way I could get a loan. I needed 20~30 million won in my bank account. The housing and living expenses were ridiculously insufficient. Starting over at the age of twenty, I had to pour all my earnings from part-time jobs into the study abroad agency, which was like pouring water into a bottomless pit, but the story was edited and misrepresented on entertainment shows.”
Ultimately, the suspicion continued as she did not clearly clarify whether she was actually accepted into a French school, only mentioning economic difficulties at the time. Accordingly, her agency clearly expressed their position once again, “It’s true that she was accepted into a French school in the past.”
Meanwhile, Han So-hee appeared on “Nattering with Nah” and revealed why her educational background was a high school graduation. She said, “I got into school in France. I must have 60 million won in my account to get a visa. But I didn’t have 60 million won at the time.”

Han So-hee added, “So I got a part-time job. I got 1.8 million won for working 12 hours a day in a bar. But if I work 2 hours as a model, I could make 3 million won. I got 20 million won for one commercial. That’s a lot of money. ‘Okay. This is it.’ ‘This is the way.’ ‘This is it. I’ll do 3 more, make 60 million won and go to school.’ And that’s how I got this far.“
Afterwards, some netizens pressured Han So-hee, saying that her statements did not match the bank account balance that applicants need to prove to get a French student visa, and demanded proof of her acceptance or proficiency in French.
